I am in LOVE with Love my Tapes!
Love my Tapes has washi tape, lace tapes, fabric tapes and more! "Love my Tapes" has some of the coolest designs and styles, definitely something for everyone.
For my project I got to use this gorgeous blue washi tape, along with this very versatile fabric tape
My first project is a little picture holder made out of a vintage wooden spool and clothes pin.
Love My Tapes makes decorating these so quick and easy!
I did have to use my exacto knife to trim the edge of the clothes pin because my tape was wider then the clothes pin...easy enough!
I have also been working on a mini album with more of
Authentique's Original Collection,
here are a few pages...

I got to work with one of the beautiful two-tone lace tapes, and the subtle green in this one perfectly matches our "Peaceful" collection.
The self-adhesive is quite strong on these laces, allowing them to stick really well to Authentique's textured cardstock.
It's nice just as a border strip too.

Do you want to know a secret?
Authentique is debuting its newest collection - be sure to stop by on Friday to see the whole line.
But today you get a sneak peak!
I love how the Love My Tapes coordinated with our "Lovely" collection. And who doesn't love hot pink??
I created the flowers with a couple of different techniques. For all of the flowers, I covered one side of a square of paper with washi tape - sometimes I covered the whole paper, sometimes I left stripes of paper for added texture. For the daisies and other petal forms, I used the "Tattered Flowers" die from Sizzix. For the roses, I used my favorite cut and twirl technique. For added texture and shine, I spritz some of the flowers with Goosebumps Shimmer Texture Spray.
I used more washi tape to create the stems - twisting it around florist's wire, and wrapping leaves in as I went.
Authentique always creates fabulous sticker sheets to coordinate with the papers, and I used the trims to decorate the jar. Washi tape twisted around itself creates great twine.
I had a great time playing with tape - it's something I haven't tried before and it's a great product! So versatile and easy to work with. Be sure to visit the Love My Tape site to see what their design team is making with our papers.
