Hello! Loes here today to show you how to make a Christmas gift box for a little bottle of wine.
I used the kraft core from the nostalgic collection by Core'dinations for the base since it's sturdy.
Cut the cardstock to 11 x 12 inch
Make score lines at 2.5 inches, 5 inches, 7.5 inches, and 10 inches.
Turn the paper sideways and make score lines at 1 3/4 inches, 10 inches and 11.5 inches.
Make diagonal score lines as in the photo below.
And cut out the little piece with the diagonal stripes.
First I sanded the kraft cardstock for a distressed look.
After that I started to decorate the box.
The pieces I used are 7 3/4 inch x 2 inch and the red dots are 6 inch x 1 3/4 inch.
Decorate with little pieces of lace and I also used a Sizzix die for the little wreath
I sanded the little wreath too.
When the decorating is finished, you can glue it into a box.
At least make two holes in the top and use lace or tulle and tie it closed.
Take of the label of the wine bottle and make your own
I used the stamp of last year
Now your Christmas gift is ready to give!
Thanks for joining us today!
Authentique: Tradition collection 12 x 12 papers, element stickers
Core'dinations: Kraft-core nostalgic collection
Unity stamps: naughty or nice

ReplyDeletethis is just about the coolest thing i've ever seen. really. i don't give wine away as gifts, but holy cow....this could be used for vinegars and oils and filled with granola, even. whatever. i'm so happy to know how to do this. the paper is amazing. i love that it can be distressed like this and then you just kept piling on amazing paper after amazing paper. if i got something like this from someone, i would keep that box out all season long as decoration. amazing. very, very cool. thank you SO much!
