Happy Halloween a day early! Can you believe that October is coming to an end already? This year, I thought it would be a great idea to volunteer to make treat bags for my daughter's Kindergarten class...
Little did I know that these babies would take me a little longer than expected to create! I think that I just wanted them to be perfect, even if they were to be ripped apart by sticky hands of little kindergarten boys and girls.
Are you looking to throw together some last minute treat bags for Trick-or-Treat tomorrow night? You can easily create some just like these too!
Start out by die cutting some cute little bows. I used a file from the Silhouette Online store for these. Ink the edges with some VersaMagic from Tsukineko/Imagine Crafts to give a soft edge.
Ta-da! Aren't those little paper bows the cutest? With our "Thrilling" 6x6 bundle, you can create tons of different little bows and since the paper quality is so nice, they will hold up for sure!
Next, find some Halloween wood pieces. I used the Monterey Pine Stars from Imagine Crafts and misted them with Fireworks. This gives a nice shimmer to match the bags.
Once your wood pieces are dry, ink the edges with some Memento Luxe. This ink works perfect on wood pieces!
Cut some labels out of the "Thrilling" Foundations 12x12 sheet and cut in half.
Start adding ribbons & trims to your bags.
Once again, use the "Thrilling" Foundations paper and cut some rectangles for Hauntingly sweet sentiments.
Add all of the pieces to your bag and fill with sweet treats!
How cute are these?!
I highly suggest putting these little bags up where little hands can't reach them until tomorrow... they may start to claim them as their own....
