Accordion Christmas Card with Joyous

Hello! Loes here today with an accordion Christmas card to share! I created this card with the beautiful Christmas collection, Joyous.

For this card, I used the accordion flip 3d album die from Sizzix. I die cut this part three times with paper from the 6x6 bundle and glued the parts together. Next, I did it again three times but took the inside out, then cut the four sides into a smaller piece. I used foam tape to put this little frame on the card.

After that, I used the puzzle pieces and other die cuts from the collection to embellish.

All of the pieces that you need for this card can be found in the Joyous Paper Crafting kit.

I couldn't resist, I just had to create a matching envelope! I love to send my handmade cards in a nice envelope! I cut a piece of 12 x 5.5 inch paper and made a score at 5.5 inch and another at 11 inches. On the small part, I glued a puzzle piece and made the corners round with a punch.

On the front, I cut a piece paper 5 x 5 inches, for the sides I cut pieces of 5.5 x 1 inch and made score lines on 1/4, 2/4, 3/4 inches and glued them on both sides of the envelope. I created space for  my card, and I need the extra space because I love to work with foam tape and that makes the card a lot thicker!

Thanks for joining me today! I hope I was able to inspire you! Now go out and pick up the "Joyous" Paper Crafting Kit and knock out all of those Christmas cards in no time!
