We're rolling out the Welcome Wagon!

We love our Design Team so much that right now, we can't begin to imagine parting with any of them! However, we often spot very talented designers and feel the need to add them to the team. We recently ran across the work of Hilary Kanwischer.... if you don't know her work, you will soon enough! She's AMAZING and we couldn't imagine not having her on our team! Please help us in welcoming Hilary to the Authentique Paper Design Team! 

Here's a little bit about Hilary along with some samples of her amazing work! 

Hi everyone, my name is Hilary Kanwischer.  I live in Palm Beach, Florida with my two children, Courtney (16) & Connor, (12).  I work as a Firefighter / Paramedic and I drive a fire engine, which my son thinks is pretty cool, and I've been at my department for 19 years now.  

I got into paper crafting about 15 years ago after walking into a scrapbook store looking for party invitations.  I was so blown away, (never even knowing places like that even existed), and as I stood there, in all that scrapbooking glory....I've never looked back! :)
In addition to paper crafting, I also love sewing, photography, road trips, snow, hiking, laughing, coffee, magazines, buttons, antiquing, primitive decorating, snow skiing, New York, Vermont, and Christmas, (I swear I could keep my home decorated for Christmas, all year long).  My dream is to one day, move with my kids to Vermont and open my own little country store.
If I were to describe my style, it would be a little homespun, mixed with a little primitive and finished with a little vintage.  I love trying new techniques, though no project is quite finished for me until it's been run through my sewing machine, distressed, and doused with buttons and glitter.
Through the years, I have been so fortunate to have had my work published in various magazines and I currently design for Sizzix and Emma's Paperie.  The icing on the cake of my paper crafting career however, came when I received the invitation to be a part of the Authentique Design Team!  I am still trying to contain my excitement and I hope you will enjoy my creations, as much as I will enjoy, creating them.
