"Wishes" Picture Frame

Hello again fellow crafters! Today I bring you an altered picture frame all decked out with papers from Authentique's 'Wishes' collection.  I found this to be an adorable collection--just right to document a child's first birthday--or any birthday for that matter!

My son recently celebrated his 1st birthday...so with him in mind I created this picture frame which can be used for either a boy or a girl.
I positioned the 'Crave' paper just right so that the banner design displayed going across the top of my frame.  With the remainder of the paper I cut out a few extra banners & placed them over the ones on the frame with a pop dot in order to give the banner a bit of dimension.
With a balloon punch I punched out 3 ballons from several of the solid colored 'Wishes' papers to create this balloon trio.  I adhered a bit of wire to them & had them coming out from behind the cupcakes.

The pinwheel is actually two stickers from the 'Wishes' sticker sheet.  I applied a clear rhinestone to the center of the pinwheel.
Some yellow wired tinsel, satin & organza ribbon were added to further dress up the page.
The cluster is composed of three cupcakes that I fussy cut from the 'Crave' paper--so I pretty much created this entire frame primarily with one designer paper from the 'Wishes' collection!

Finally I added a bit of sparkle to the designs on the frame by applying some clear Stickles here & there.

I enjoyed making this little keepsake...thanks for stopping by & enjoy the rest of the week!
