Today we have Keri Sallee with us showcasing some amazing projects that she created from our "Classique: Elegant" collection. you may remember Keri, she's guest designed for us in the past. We love her work so much that we asked her to come back. We know you will love what she has created to share today!
I wanted to do something different with the Classique: Eegant collection so I decided to do a bright colored mixed media piece to contrast with the blues and blacks of the collection. I started with collaging pieces of vintage music as my background. I used Hedi Swapp's Burst stencil with her Color Shine in Mustard. To add dimension, I added Faber-Castell Gelatos in orange and yellow and blended them with my Mustard Color Shine. I then added spots of copper ultra thick embossing enamel with my vintage Heidi Swapp Stamps, stamped images and silver modeling paste using my Prima Marketing Stencil.
I used my Bird die from Sizzix and the Classique: Elegant collection, the marquee sticker from the Classique: Elegant collection and rolled flowers to finish off my mixed media canvas.
Vintage Sheet Music, Paint-Faber Castell Gelatos, Heidi Swapp, Synta Inc; Stamps-G Studio, Heidi Swapp, Stampabilities; Modeling Paste: Liquitex; Matte Gel Medium: Liquitex; Stencil: Heidi Swapp, Prima Marketing; Bird Die: Sizzix; Enamel accents: Ranger; Embossing Enamel: Suze Weinberg's; Embossing Ink: Tim Holtz for Ranger; Ink: Archival Ink by Ranger
The 1 1/2 inch circular stickers from the Classique: Elegant sticker sheet were perfect fits for my 1 1/2 inch bezels.
I layered words I cut from the same sticker sheet, added some fun metal embellishments and topped it all off with Ice Resin.
