A "Pretty" Frame

Hello fellow Authentique fans!  Kay here with a wooden picture frame that I've altered with papers from the beautiful 'Classique: Pretty' collection.  The name fits this collection perfectly!  It really is a 'pretty' wonderland of pinks & blacks--ideal for creating projects for girls.  That's exactly what I had in mind when I altered this plain wooden picture frame.
For the base of my frame I've used the 'Collected' paper from the 'Classique: Pretty' collection.  This paper was so well designed that I didn't really need to add much more to my frame.  I just went with a few embellishments in opposite corners & a decorative trim to go around the border of the photo frame & I was done!

I painted the back of the frame with black acrylic paint & then inked the edges of the frame with black ink to make the border pop.
In the bottom left hand corner I added a bird with a nest, a few flowers & a sticker element from the 'Pretty' collection.
The opposite upper right hand corner was embellished with a few flowers & one more bottle sticker element from the 'Pretty' collection.  Viola!  Instant decorative frame!  This makes for a very quick & thoughtful personal gift for any special girl in your life.

Thanks for stopping by...
