Hi there! Loes here today to show a creative project using products from May Arts Ribbon and Imagine Crafts along with our "Faith" collection.
I saw an idea like this a long time ago and I decided that I wanted to make something like this myself.
I just had to wait for the right collection to come along! I can tell you, the "Faith" collection is one of my favorites! I love the colors and the different themes you can use with it. Think of your first born baby photo's or wedding pictures, etc... this collection is perfect for all of the above!
Now for my little dress...
At first a drew a body on the 12 x 12 papers. These are a heavier weight than the papers in the 6x6 bundles, and because I was adding a lot of ribbon, I decided to use the heavier textured paper.
I cut strips of 12 x 0.5 inches of paper and a lot of different ribbon and lace in different sizes. The longest one is 17 inches. I used my stapler to attach all of the pieces to the body.
I folded a 12 x 1 inch paper strip to cover all the staples.
After that, I used a lot of detail stickers and components
die cuts.
I used the expresso truffle ink from Imagine Crafts for all the paper edges, they have great ink blushers for making soft colored edges, I am a fan of this product.
I hope I was able to inspire you today!
