A "Grateful" Fall Harvest Banner

It's almost fall, y'all and I have a pretty pumpkin banner to help bring in my most favorite season of the year!  I've used the new "Grateful" Collection and a few pre-cut chipboard pumpkin shapes that I found at Michael's.

I traced the pumpkin shape onto various patterned papers from the collection and then cut out.

After cutting out the main pumpkin shape, I die-cut an oval from one of the 6X6 Bundle papers and attached it to the center of each pumpkin.  A little machine stitching around the ovals gave such an instant, homespun feel.
I used five panels of the chipboard shape, so I decided to make the center pumpkin the focal point and then used a mirror-image effect for the design working out from the middle.

Fall paper leaves coupled with different Petaloo flowers made a pretty setting.

After dressing all of the pumpkins, I added an edging of baker's twine to each.  Next, a hole was punched at each side of the pumpkin.  The pieces were then strung together with a length of burlap ribbon that was tied into a bow.

I'm so in love with the rust color, hint of mint green and peachy-pink found in the collection.
And as always you will see vintage-style artwork and fun quotes...it's perfect for any of your Fall or Thanksgiving papercrafting!
