Valentine's Card and Post Box with "Crush"

Valentine's is always a fun holiday to hand out cards and play mailman. Today, I have a set of three simple cards, using the Authentic Life Cards, 6x6 Bundle and Card Making Stack in the Crush Collection, and a matching altered post box created using the Crush Collection Kit.

Each of these cards were super easy to make using the Authentic Life Cards, 6x6 Bundle and Card Making Stack. I started with three of the cards in the Card Making Stack, and simply layered various Authentic Life Cards with pieces from the 6x6 Bundle.

The cards also are layered with pieces from the 6x12 Components Cardstock Accents, twine, ribbon and other small details. To add some sparkle and shine, I also painted small details with my Wink of Stella Clear glitter brush.

On this last card, I cut down the Authentic Life Card to highlight the sentiment. I also took my Kiwi Lane Card Border Templates to add more interest. Add some twine and a button, and done!

 None of them match, but they are all super cute!

For the mailbox, I cut the paper to size (for the seam, on the top, I cut an additional piece of paper to cover it), and used my Xyron 9" Creative Station to adhere the pieces to the existing paper mache mailbox. The flag for the mailbox is attached using an acrylic flower brad, so it can move as needed.
