Stay Little Forever Layout with 'Playful'

When it comes to preserving memories and photos of our children, we tend to want a fun, bright, and cheery paper to go along with our photos. Our Playful collection captures all of the excitement of childhood and is the perfect pair when creating layouts of our children.

I found the 'Playful' collection to be ideal for documenting layouts or albums where children is the primary focal point.  This photo was taken in October of 2014 by my husband & it captured me & my son enjoying a chilly Autumn morning by a lake.

My son keeps getting bigger & bigger by the day & I find myself wishing that Father Time would slow things down a bit so that I can thoroughly enjoy these moments where my son is still tiny enough for me to protect from most of the obstacles that Life has in store--a moment in time where he's fascinated by the simple things like a colorful leaf, a wind up toy or even an empty box!  A time when he gives me a hug or kiss simply 'because'.  This is why I've titled this page 'Stay Little Forever (Please)'  & how convenient that I even have a stamp with this phrase!  :-)

The overall design of the page was based on a sketch created by The Nifty Pixel.  I found this sketch to have the same characteristics as some of the papers from the 'Playful' collection--so I found it befitting.

I did a bit of stamping right onto the background of my page.  I used one of the card stock accents from the 'Components' page as my journaling tag which I stored into a small kraft bag that is tucked behind my photos.

I finished up my page with random bits & bobs that I have in my stash that coordinated with & accentuated some of the colors from the 'Playful' collection such as the  mini felt teddy bear.

I hope you enjoyed this colorful page!  Enjoy the rest of the week...
