Fun Fall Layout Featuring "Nestled" and Petaloo!

This week we're blog hopping with our Petaloo friends & if there are embellishments that compliment projects made with Authentique paper--it's Petaloo!

I've created a layout showcasing Authentique's 'Nestled' collection paired up with some fabulous flowers from Petaloo in beautiful earth tone shades that coordinate perfectly with the 'Nestled' collection.

This would be my son last year for Halloween.  He was dressed up as an owl & the bright colors of his costume added a splash of brightness to this earth tone layout.

The design of my page is based on a sketch by The Nifty Pixel.  The design calls for lots of layers & embellishments--so in keeping with the Autumn theme of this page--I leaned more towards Autumn embellishments such as this bling owl shown here.  I've had this owl in my stash for ages!

As is customary for my pages--I've adhered several of the embellishments with the use of pop dots which gives my items dimension.  I'm a big fan of having embellishments 'pop up' on the page.

I've had a burlap net in my stash for ages as well & I was finally able to use it for this project.  I think it added a 'rustic' feel to the background of my page.

Here's a closeup of my primary cluster of flowers consisting of several Petaloo flowers!

The colorful sequins seen scattered about my page were adhered with small glue dots meant to adhere small rhinestones.  These glue dots worked just as well for sequins.
