A Fun Eastertime Banner
As we head into Easter this week, we would love to share with you a few of our favorite projects using Authentique's line, Eastertime.
Banners are a great way to create some fun and interest in your house. The Spring Banner extends the life of your collections, as the banner can be used for an entire season, rather than just a few weeks.
For each of the banner pieces, the metal die was used for the banner itself, then the large flower was cut using an electronic die cutter. Each was put together in the same manner, using a doily, a brad, and a self-adhesive letter.
To add more dimension between layers, each flower petal, leaf, and banner was inked using a light brown ink.
To make this truly an Easter banner, I added a second string of little Easter bunnies (Design ID #26545). Each was cut using my Silhouette, but you could easily find any bunny shape and do the same. The eggs on this banner are separate, and each bunny holds their own egg. For little images like this, the 6x6 Bundle papers work great, as they are each sized down images!
Come back later this week, as we share more Eastertime projects!
