'Always' Chipboard Mini Album

 

In my stash I had a chipboard album that had been there for several years.  I dusted it off & decided to use it as a wedding themed mini album to showcase the 'Always' collection by Authentique.  I hadn't done a chipboard based mini album in a very long time so I had to dig back through memory lane on how to go about decorating this chipboard mini.

The mini can be used as a small keepsake to store wedding and/or anniversary photos.

 

The mini only has four pages, but I added several elements to the pages that gave the album ample room for storing photos and/or journaling.  The colors of 'Always' are primarily black & ivory.  I added a splash of burgundy & gold to accentuate the primary colors of  the 'Always' collection.

On the cover I have a burgundy feather flower & a handmade black flower with the word 'Love' decked out in gold glitter.  :-)

 

The decorative edges of the chipboard mini were painted with burgundy acrylic paint & then heat embossed with a transparent, glittered embossing powder.  On the very last page of the mini I added a strip of burgundy lace to the edge.

Mini measures 10" x 8" inches.

 

The mini has several pockets to store photos & or journaling & I've added gold doilies as decorations & also as photo mats. 

The binding of the mini are book rings.  To each book ring, I've tied pieces of burgundy ribbon, ivory tulle, ivory lace trim & tan crinkled seam binding.

 

 On the last page of the mini, I created a version of a backwards waterfall.  The water fall is held closed with magnets.
