Teacher Appreciation Gift Packaging
One of my favorite things to do with the fabulous Authentique papers, is create fantastic gift packaging. I love using different collections in new and fun ways. For today's project, I combined the beautiful Seafarer Collection, with some bits and pieces of various cardstocks in order to create some gift packaging for my daughter to give a little gift to her teacher for Teacher Day.
To start this project, I created this extremely simple, no-glue box. A few minutes with my Silhouette and one piece of Seafarer Seven cardstock, and done! I especially loved that because the anchors faced both ways, I would not have to worry about which way the paper folded.

The tag was just some simple paper piecing. I chose to pop the darker blue of Seafarer Ten against the lighter blue of Seafarer Three. The apple was actually from Seafarer Twelve. I then pieced together the apple with a stem made from Micro Basics Milk Chocolate and a leaf from Spectrum Series Crocodile Smile.
Once the apple was complete, I used some dimensional adhesive to pop the little banner sentiment, then tied the whole little tag to the bag using some beautiful chevron ribbon and cording.

Now that my little gift packaging is created, I cannot wait to fill it up with some classroom supplies and a little gift for my daughter's teacher.
