Pastime Collection Mini Album

Today we are sharing our fabulous Rebecca's Disneyland mini album using the Pastime Collection. This would be a fantastic album to document a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth.
 *********
Hello!! I wanted to share this mini album with everyone today as it has been one of my favorite and most popular books to date! I really wanted to keep it vintage Disney. I created a lot of the pieces using Photoshop and my cutting machine.
The cover uses a combination of Pastime Seven and Ten, and uses a few die cuts to add more interest
On the front I used some colorful mulch and really wanted to capture the essence of Walt & Mickey and of course had to add Tinkerbell in there as well. I crated the bones of the book with chipboard and used a nice thick craft paper which is the base of all the pages and the foldouts and cards. It took a log time to create the “Disneyland” sign, but oh so worth it as it just finished off the piece.
Inside of the mini album, I created wonderful pull out sections, pockets, tags and multiple sections to add all of your details. The bottom row of buildings on Pastime Four makes the perfect border for these pages.
What would be a Disney project with out Bert and Mary! I created the pockets and used a punch to make the red scallops- to get the feel of the roof tops of London. Then Created a black outline of Bert and Mary.
The multiple sections of these pages include pages from Pastime Two and Pastime Eight. All of the various travel images would be perfect for your in-travel images. As you can see there are lots of nooks and crannies to keep pictures and tags for journaling, each page has a section to place other keepsakes in as well. I used a coffee sleeve to create the pocket on the left side. I opened it up and flipped around so that none of the writing appeared then glided the back and bottom to create a pocket. I also used sheet #6 and cut 3 sections out for the band and the flip card on the right. Then later used the portion with the trailer for page 5 band.
These pages are fantastic! They use Pastime One, Six, Twelve and various other die cuts. Each layer could easily hold one or more photographs and some journaling.
A few more additional die cuts, and some additional stickers and things add more interest and make this mini album even more special.
The fantastic additions of Pastime Ten and Twelve, add the perfect amount of whimsy to this mini album. All of the fantastic Mickey elements would be a great section for some amazing photographs with the big mouse himself.
I remember as a child going to Disneyland and waiting in line for what seemed like an eternity to ride the small world ride-It was my mom’s favorite ride and it was always the one we headed to first- I can remember seeing something new each time! So I really wanted to get this page right! I used the sheet from the collection with the cameras on the backside to create the “clouds” and then to create the gold leafing, I used the laminator to really capture the front entrance of the ride.
A more comprehensive look at the entire album.
