Merry Christmas from All of Us at Authentique!

All of us at Authentique, our design team, staff and owners would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! To share in our merriment of this festive season, we are sharing with you a handful of projects that our design team created to celebrate the holidays.

I chose the Solitude collection for this stuffed pocket with tags as I am really drawn to the nature inspired paper patterns and vintagy images. Here in Michigan it doesn't stop being winter after Christmas so I really wanted to create a winter themed project that is also nice for the holiday.
I had so much fun adding loads of layers and tags to fill this oversized pocket. There are so many amazing focal images to create with it was nice to not have to pick just one!
Here are just some of the inserts and tags I have tucked inside. If you'd like to see a project share video for this project please check out this link.

Good Morning!!! Pam here today sharing a fun Frosted Canister/Box filled with a fun Frosty Gift Tag Album! It seems like this is something everyone wants this year! Gift Cards!!!
So making a unique, creative project is the perfect gift.
There is a gift card for shopping, one for a meal and of course one for them to enjoy a favorite beverage after a long day of shopping, lol. Stop by my blog at Scrapbook Flair to see all the details.  Enjoy Pam

Supplies: Authentique Frosted Collection, Sizzix Canister Die, Ribbon, Adhesive, Knob, JumpRing

I just love the Nostalgia collection because it has great images for both people and pets.  A short while back, I shared a Santa Paws is Coming to Town card folio tutorial on the blog.  To give equal time to all the cat lovers out there, I created this equally fun "Meowy Christmas" card folio.  You can follow the same video tutorial for this card, just substitute cat images and papers for the dog themed papers and images.

You'll need to follow THIS tutorial to make the fun accordion folio insert.

We just took Christmas photos with Santa, and I couldn't resist creating a layout to document the fun occasion. I started with papers from the Jingle Collection, added a few Silhouette Design Store cuts (#281468, #282335) with my Silhouette, and a little bit of ink and dimensional adhesive.
The dimension created with the foldover cut file makes this really interesting. A little Spectrum Series paper behind the trees, and there are some great shadowing effects. The Santa stamp is from Diamond Press, and is colored with markers.

For my second project, I created a birthday card using both Jingle and the Spectrum Series for my lovely neighbor who has a Christmas birthday! The Dala horse for me always celebrates Christmas, as my family would put out our Dala horses around Christmastime. This uses a steel die (Neat & Tangled) and a small stamp (Lawn Fawn).
