A 'Rustic' Paper Bag Mini Album

Today's project is one of those simple yet versatile little projects where you can pack several goodies in a small amount of space.  I went back to the basics with this one & made a paper bag mini album.  Remember when these were the latest 'craft craze'?  :-)

There are countless of paper bag mini album tutorials available in both Pinterest & YouTube--so I didn't reinvent the wheel with this one.  I've taken inspiration from a fellow crafter's video tutorial to create this mini.  You can find that video here.  For the most part I followed her tutorial but I did add my own design touches here and there and also used different measurements since my paper bags were not the same size as hers.  That's what makes these projects so wonderful though--the fact that you can adapt them to any size and still come out with a fabulous project!

I've used the camp themed collection appropriately named 'Rustic' for my project.  This was the cutest collection to create this mini with and the name says it all.  My mini turned out have a truly 'Rustic' design to it and I loved how it turned out.

I've decorated the lid, which is also the closure for this album, with a mini pinecone, acorn & a sprig consisting of Kraft colored flowers.

The mini measures approximately 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" inches with two 1 1/4" inch spines. As previously mentioned, the pages are made with small Kraft paper bags. There are six pages in the album with several tuck spots and expanding pockets.  

I've added a few extra elements such as flaps that provide extra room for either more pictures and/or journaling.

Inside each pocket there is one photo mat.  Each photo mat measures 2 3/4" x 2 3/4".

There are also additional photo mats in each of the expanding pockets.  These measure 3" x 3" inches.    There's room to add additional photos, memorabilia and/or journaling in each of these expanding pockets.

Both spines of the mini are decorated with burlap fabric.
