Happy Valentine's Day! I have always loved making and receiving Valentines! When I was in grade school, everyone in my class made a Valentine box, and then we got a list of our classmates to make sure that every student sent and received a Valentine from every other student. That was quite progressive thinking for the 1970's! My mom would take me to the "Five and Dime" to buy a box of Valentines! Which was a very big deal because we had limited funds in those days! We would have a party at school with treats (provided by the PTA), and usually a little film or cartoon. So much excitement!
I created a home decor panel so that I can "celebrate" Valentine's Day all month long! I used the Love Notes Collection to create this red and pink treat for the eyes!
This 6" x 6" chipboard-wrapped home decor panel looks so lovely sitting on my desk! If you would like to see more information, and get a tutorial for making a panel for yourself, check out my blog, Scraps of Life.

Supplies: Authentique Love Notes Collection, ivory, pink, and black cardstock, heart die cut doily, ribbon, flowers. decorative pin, chipboard, adhesive.

My Valentine's Day project is a tri-fold card, made with the sweet 'Love Notes' collection.  The card measures 4" x 6" inches when closed.

The card is held closed with a belly band.  I've decorated the belly band with a red fabric star organza flower & a puffy heart sticker.

This is the card when opened. The design gives the card a dimensional effect. There's room in the middle for writing a sentiment.

The back is decorated as well and can provide additional space for writing if needed.  Hope you all enjoyed this unique this take on a Valentine's Day card!

Supplies Used:
Paper - Authentique Love Notes Collection, Love Notes Details Card Stock Sticker Sheet, Other - Fabric Flowers, Puffy Heart Sticker
