Nautical Folio Mini Album with Voyage

Hello there friends and Authentique fans! Ginny here with an easy and fast to create mini album base finished with the gorgeous Voyage collection.

I think you will be as pleasantly surprised as I was at how versatile this collection is. Not only is it perfect for nautical themed projects but it will work equally well for all the summer holidays with the stars and stripes and red, white, and blue.

 This mini measures in at 8 x 4  and has a half inch spine so there's plenty of room to add your favorite family pictures and memories. I find this to be an excellent size to get the best use from the 12 x 12 inch papers with very little waste.

There's still plenty of room to add a focal image with all the trimmings that perfectly dress a mini album.

Here's one of the cut apart images die cut to fit into a frame. All the flowers are made by by me to coordinate perfectly with the collection.  I've also added a bit of bling in the way of some nautical inspired charms and die cut mirror cardstock.

Two of my favorite journal cards from the collection are made into tip ins to add even more precious real estate. I am super in love with that star pattern in the background. It just says summer to me!

Under the flaps is a non contrasting pattern that will be the perfect place to add the journaling that helps to tell the stories from your pictures.

These inserts are covered inside and out for a nice finished look. It also adds a great deal of weight and sturdiness to the mini and we all love a chunky album.

Consider adding photo mats to the pages for  quick and easy layouts when you fill in the book.
