Slimline Graduation Card with Purebred Pets
Graduation for anyone this year is going to look a little different. I have a handful of special seniors that my family is going to celebrate, that deserve something just a little more special than just a card grabbed from the supermarket shelves. Remember to check your themed collections for great patterns like this one from Purebred Pets that are just waiting for their non-themed project.
In this case, I created a slimline card. Slimline cards are making a comeback and I couldn't be happier. They are perfect for any time you want to stash in a check or cash with the card. Since the card is longer, nothing gets bent awkwardly.
I then added the name by using one of my fonts and welding those together.
A couple of added sequins added just a little bit of flair, coupled with
the extensive use of foam adhesive. All of the layers are an easy way
to add in depth and interest.
Once the card was made, another piece of Purebred Pets One and an
envelope punch board created the matching card. This graduation card is
ready for it's recipient. Supplies Used:
Authentique Paper: Purebred Pets One, kraft paper, foam adhesive, Silhouette Cameo III, Silhouette Online Store cut file #79472, sequins, white and black cardstock
