August Desk Calendar Tutorial

Hello, Friends!  Let's grab out flip flops and beach umbrellas and get busy making the August Desk Calendar.   We'll be using the Authentique August Collection Pack this month.  The cool coral and rich aqua color palette of this month's calendar is perfect for a beach themed project.

I've been using the Authentique Calendar collection to make these sweet little desk calendars all year long.  If you're new to this series, you can find the previous desk calendars HERE. 

Like the previous calendars, this little number measures 6" x 6".  The easel style folio format means that it stands upright for display and folds flat for storage.  

Don't be fooled by the compact size, however!  There is loads of room inside for wallet sized photo folios, journaling, and a sweet little pull out folio for larger photos.  Use the calendar to write down important dates like birthdays, anniversaries and appointments.   

These desk calendars also make a wonderful birthday gift!  Imagine how fun it would be to give filled with pictures of the birthday girl or boy taken through the years.
