Dance as if no one is watching!

Happy Monday, Authentique Fans!!

Today, I have a romantic card featuring Authentique's All-Star Dance & Cheer Paper Pack.

Have you ever heard the expression " Dance as if no one is watching"? Me and my sweet hubby love to dance. He'll grab my hand and we slow dance whenever and wherever the mood strikes... sometimes to the embarrassment of our kids! LOL😄 That's ok, as a couple we keep the passion alive in our relationship by doing romantic (and sometimes silly) things like dancing as if no one is watching.

It'll be our anniversary soon. We'll be married 15 yrs. We've been together for over 20! Whatever we're doing must be working because we are still deeply in love with each other! So when I saw this cut-away card with the couple dancing, I knew this would make for a perfect anniversaary card!

I decided to change it up with a square card today. The finished card measures 5 1/2" x 5 1/2". I will list all the measurements down below...

Card Base: Burgundy Cardstock- 5 1/2" x 11" (5 1/2"x 5 1/2"- folded)

Mat: Blue Dance Silhouette paper- 5 3/8" x 5 3/8"

Next Set of  Smaller Squares: Burgundy Cardstock- 4 3/4" x 4 3/4"

Polkadot Paper- 4 5/8" x 4 5/8"

Strip: Burgundy Cardstock- 5 1/2" x 1 5/8"

Striped Paper- 5 1/2" x 1 1/2"

I cut my paper to the specified sizes then layered and attatched them together using my Xyron Mega Runner

I also cut out the dancing couple card and mat...

Small Card and Mat: Burgundy Cardsstock- 3 3/4" x 3"

Dancing Couple Card- 3 5/8" x 2 7/8"

I used to dancing couple cards. I wanted to make my couple three dimensional. So I cut out one panel and the other I cut the couple out completely.

Then added foam adhesive to the back and layered them onto the other card and used a corner chomper to cut decorative corners on the top two corners of both the card and mat.

Then assembeled all my panels together...

 

And lastly, I added beautiful premade flowers and a metal embellishment with the words... 

'Live in the moment'.
