4 Sheet Challenge Back to School Flip Book Scrapbook
Hello friends and Authentique Paper fans! Ginny here with my September installment of my 4 Sheet Challenge. Every month I create a project using only the 4 pages of the Calendar Collection themed for the month. Of course this is September so it's all about back to school. School looks a little different this year so it's very important to document the memories so we can look back on them and laugh at how crazy it was. I have a senior in university and they are having all online classes so he's at home needing more quiet time for when they are in session. I'm having to learn to be as quiet as a mouse so as not to disrupt their classes! And if you know me....you know quiet is not my strong suit lol.
This months project is a flip book style mini album.
I chose my favorite image from the journal card sheet and designed around it. Those vintagy school children are just so charming!
I've included all my favorite elements for the cover including flowers made from the off cuts of the papers, coordinating trims, a vintage button, and charm.Layering the patterns from the A and B side of the paper. Make sure to add a solid border between to keep them from looking too busy.
Yep. I kept the sentiment strip as a whole block to add as a tip in too!
The backs of the tip ins are covered in the collection paper for a nice finished look front to back.
Once all the pages have been flipped out on this scrapbook you can see the top folding inserts. I added another die cut doily to this center page to act as a frame for a photo.
The pages also have tuck spots. It's a great way to add pictures or flat mementos to your book without having to adhere them to the page.
You can see how much extra space this mini has when all the pages are flipped up.
