An Autumn 'Splendor' Folio Album

For today's project I have an Autumn themed folio made with the 'Splendor' collection. The album measures 4 7/8" x 9 7/8" inches & has a 1" inch spine.

I've decorated the spine of the album with several strips of tulle, ribbon & bakers twine.

The image of the sunflower from one of the papers from the collection was exactly what I wanted to decorate the cover of this album.  I didn't add any additional decorations to the cover & only accentuated the image of the sunflower by decorating it with glitter glue (Stickles).

The inside of the album consists of two parts. On the left is a tri-fold album & on the right is a waterfall.  Waterfalls have become my go to projects when it comes to mini albums. They provide a way to store so much in a condensed way.

For both the tri-fold album & the waterfall I've used a belly band closure made from acetate. On both belly bands I have decorative sliders made with card stock stickers from the collection.

The waterfall consists of 10 pages.  Each page measures 3 1/4" x 4 1/4" inches & can hold photos measuring up to 3" x 4" inches. These waterfalls are ideal for displaying cut apart cards which is exactly what I did for this project.

The waterfall is a large pocket. Tucked behind the waterfall is a large tag measuring 3 3/4" x 8 1/4" inches.

On the left hand side is the tri-fold mini album.  I've created this sort of album as a standalone project in the past. I have a tutorial for creating this album on my YouTube channel.  Click here for the video tutorial.

I did add two side pockets to the tri-fold album which isn't part of the original tutorial.  I added these two pockets in order to have a way to adhere it to the folio.

Each tag inside the tri-fold album pockets measure 3 1/2" x 8 3/4" inches.

Below is a video walk through for the folio album. Enjoy!
