Decorative Tombstones with the Masquerade Collection

Happy "almost" Halloween! As we get closer to the day itself, I've been adding to my existing holiday decor. This year, I've added this fun pair of tombstones to my mantel using the Masquerade collection.

The tombstones are simply tabletop chalkboards that I snagged at a recent Target visit from the Dollar Spot. I tend to grab things to alter from Target, as they are inexpensive and really easy to sand down or add embellishments to.

Rather than changing anything about these chalkboard tombstones, I just decided to add some die cut flowers and embellishments from the Elements die cuts sheet.

The flowers are cut from a layering floral die cut set, and could easily be created using any flower die set, or electronic cutting file you have.

Once the flowers (Masquerade Two, Four, Six) were created and hot glued onto the tombstones, I used die cuts from the Masquerade Two, Four, SixElements sheet and embellishments to add more detail to the tombstones.
After everything was added, some white stitch lines with a gel pen completed this project.

Thanks for checking out today's Masquerade project, and have a great day!
