Happy Spooky Halloween Shaker Cards
Halloween is almost here. Are you ready? I'm Jennifer Snyder and I'm ready. Ok truth be told, I was ready but I ate the bag of candy I bought, HOWEVER I am all set with my Halloween cards AND they have been mailed.
I love to make shaker cards because they are so unexpected. When I send a card to someone, I imagine I'm sending a surprise in an envelope and I envision a smile on the face of the person opening the card. These days, there are a lot of folks who need a reason to smile. Cards are super simple ways to send Halloween trick or treat smiles to friends and family.

The collection was designed with a fascinating feature of combining both spooky and sweet Halloween ephemera and patterned paper giving the paper crafter total freedom to design Halloween any which way. I created a sweet adorable Halloween greeting card for my mom and then some spookier cards for my adventurous friends.
Let's talk about the chipboard shaker sets used on the cards today. The cards today feature the Creative Embellishments - Spider Web Shaker and the Creative Embellishments Chipboard - Witch Hat Shaker.
I also happen to adore the Witch Hat chipboard Shaker design from Creative Embellishments so it was a great combo. I painted the chipboard with painted black and filled with Buttons Galore Shaker Mix- Haunted House Sequin Tin.
3D bat buttons add the finishing touches here. There are two different 3D Bat buttons used - Buttons Galore 3D Bat Buttons and Buttons Galore 3D Buttons- Bats .
The second card for the day is the sweet trick or treat spider web shaker card. The Spider Web shaker was painted with a creamy white acrylic paint and filled with Buttons Galore Sparkletz Shaker Mix -called "Boo". The card was topped with a creepy 3D bat and 3D spider button from Buttons Galore.
Thank you for stopping here today and wishing you a festive Halloween. Happy crafting.
